John’s Community Impact
Community Initiatives
John Putnam is committed to enhancing our community through various impactful initiatives. Every November, John volunteers to help provide Thanksgiving meals and essential items to over 1,000 low-income community members. Through his Love Packs Initiative, John distributes beanies, cold weather accessories, blankets, and other necessary resources to those in need. Additionally, he supports local children by distributing hundreds of backpacks through BTROC. During the Covid-19 pandemic, John responded swiftly by manufacturing and donating protective gear to Santa Monica hospitals.
Investing in Education
His involvement with local schools reflects John Putnam's dedication to education. As a former eight-year member of the Saint Monica Preparatory School Board, he supports higher educational standards. In the Santa Monica-Malibu Unified School District, John was impressed with the quality of education and special needs support, ensuring that every child, including his daughter Brook, received the resources they needed to thrive.
